Those who have treasured holy things in a holy way will themselves be made holy. Those who have been instructed in holy things will be able to offer a defense for what they have done.
To you, therefore, O kings, are these my words, that you may learn wisdom, and not fall from it.
These are holy matters, and if you treat them in a holy manner, you yourselves will be considered holy. If you have learned this lesson, you will be able to defend yourselves at the Judgment.
For those who keep the holy precepts hallowed will be found holy, and those learned in them will have ready a response.
For those who observe holy precepts with holiness will be accounted holy, and those who have become learned in them will have a defense to offer.
For they will be made holy who observe holy things in holiness, and those who have been taught them will find a defence.
